Hoffman Building Technologies Announces Michael Rushing as Incoming President and Honors Bill Easterday’s Legacy and Continued Service During Transition
Greensboro, NC – October 16, 2024—Hoffman Building Technologies, a leader in building automation and controls, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Rushing as its new President, effective January 1, 2025. Michael brings over 15 years of experience and a deep passion for innovation to the role, further advancing Hoffman Building Technologies’ leadership in the building solutions market. He succeeds Bill Easterday, who is retiring as President after leading the company since 2013 but will continue to work alongside Michael during the transition in 2025.
Bill Easterday has been a revered and respected leader, guiding Hoffman Building Technologies through a period of significant growth and innovation. His dedication to excellence and collaborative spirit have left a lasting impact on the company and the industry. Though retiring from the presidency, Bill will remain with Hoffman Building Technologies through 2025 to ensure a seamless transition and provide his invaluable expertise.

Michael Rushing, a proud NC State University graduate, earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, in 2004, followed by a Master of Business Administration. Throughout his career at Hoffman, he has driven collaborative growth initiatives and spearheaded the establishment of a new branch in Atlanta. His hands-on leadership and vision will continue to propel Hoffman Building Technologies to new heights.
