Critical Environments
Pharmaceutical labs, universities, hospitals, research facilities, industrial corporations, and other critical applications require precise airflow control systems. These systems are designed to accurately control temperature, humidity, and air pressure to ensure high air quality in critical environments. They protect sensitive equipment and personnel from potentially hazardous airborne particles, chemicals, and pathogens.
As part of our critical environment solutions, we partner with Phoenix Controls. It is a recognized leader in developing and manufacturing precision airflow control systems used in critical room environments.
Airflow Metering
Typically, we use Accel® venturi valves, built and characterized at our headquarters, to ensure quality workmanship reflecting years of Phoenix Controls engineering advancements. Our airflow control systems are built around this high-performance airflow metering device, backed by a five-year warranty. Its reliable performance has been proven in a wide range of critical environments.
Testing and Balancing
Testing and balancing (TAB) can be difficult and time-consuming when a building has critical airflow control requirements. Unless you have an appropriate device, you may end up repeating the process. A Phoenix Controls Accel® II venturi valve eliminates these redundant efforts. With its true pressure-independent performance and factory characterization, this valve reduces TAB time and ensures room pressurization stability. TAB time is also reduced because every valve is factory characterized with a 48-point flow curve on a NIST-certified valve characterization station at our US headquarters. As soon as the valves are installed, most of the system commissioning can be completed before the fans are turned on.
Constant Airflow Control Accuracy
True pressure independence ensures long-term system stability. When the building system is running, conditions and static pressures will change. Accel II venturi valves offer superior pressure-independent performance for constant airflow control accuracy and proper room pressurization. Airflow-metering devices like this are the backbone of every airflow control system we offer, whether it is Celeeris, Theris, Traccel, or Analog.
