On Oct. 8, we opened our new Atlanta office to customers, contractors and partners, and for the first time every Hoffman company in the area sits under one roof.
What happened at the open house
We hosted the open house at our Atlanta-area office, 3871 Lakefield Drive, Suite 300, Suwanee, GA 30024. The goal was simple: connect with the people we work with and show them the latest building automation solutions.
About 85 clients and partners came through during the all-day event. Another 25 or so vendor and manufacturing partners set up booths. Professional development hour (PDH) sessions ran throughout the day, and guests networked over food trucks, drinks, a golf simulator and cornhole.
“Our customers, contractors and partners are what make this work, so having them in one room to see what smarter building automation can do was the best way to launch this office,” said Andrew Segal, Regional Sales Manager for Georgia and Alabama at Hoffman Building Technologies.
One office for the Hoffman Family of Companies
The open house also marked a bigger change. HBT and our sister companies, Hoffman & Hoffman, Hoffman Mechanical Solutions and Hoffman Hydronics, used to work from separate offices in the Atlanta area. Now we sit together.
HBT began as the controls division of Hoffman & Hoffman, a leader in high quality HVAC products since 1947, so this is a reunion as much as a move. You can read more about our history.
What we do from the Atlanta office
Our Atlanta team designs, installs, commissions and services intelligent automation solutions and control systems for mission critical environments. That work spans healthcare, data centers, education, laboratories, pharmaceutical and life sciences, and industrial manufacturing facilities.
Atlanta is one of our 14 offices across six states, and you can find the rest on our locations page. More than 1,500 buildings across the United States, UK, Europe, South America and Singapore run on technology we have delivered. We are 100% employee owned, and we are targeting 25% annual growth through 2030.
